Product Review and Big G Cereals Giveaway
I think by now, everyone who has visited this site knows how much I love cereal. And if you don’t know, now you know. I love cereal A LOT. I am one of those people who will eat cereal for breakfast, lunch or dinner. So, when General Mills asked me to try their Big G cereals and host a giveaway for my readers, I totally jumped at the opportunity. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day for me. Eating breakfast really helps my family and I start the day off right. Cereal provides a really quick and easy way to eat breakfast...

It’s been awhile since I have done a product review. I have been using a lot of products lately that I absolutely love and I can’t wait to share them with you. My past reviews have always been about the latest food items that I love, well not today. Aside from my obsession with health/wellness, my other obsession is all things beauty. From skincare to fragrance to cosmetics, I am a real girlie girl when it comes to beauty products. I was recently asked to test and review Eucerin’s Everyday Protection Body Lotion with SPF 15. If...

On Sundays, I usually like to run all my errands and take care of everything on my “to-do list” early so that I can enjoy what’s left of the weekend. Well not happening today. My day ended up being just a little crazy. Here’s a glance at how the day started and ended, just NUTS. 7AM – Rise and shine, my daughter is up and ready to eat. Let the day begin. 8AM – Baby I and get dressed and head out to the park for a short power walk, my only form of exercise for the weekend, so wack of me, I know, but it’s better then nothing...

I’m really excited about my product review today. Currently, in the east coast we have been hit with some serious summer weather. The temperature has been in the 80’s and up. Based on the crazy weather we had this past winter, I am definitely happy to welcome the summer. Well, my review for this week is definitely fitting to help you cool down during the hot summer weather that lies ahead. I have always been a huge fan of Skinny Cow products. I started out eating their ice cream sandwiches, but most recently tried their new ice cream cups...

Sorry I didn’t get a chance to do my weekly product review yesterday, but I definitely wanted to share with you my favorite product this week. Everyone who knows me knows that two of my favorite food items are bananas and peanut butter. Well, this post is about peanut butter. I am slightly obsessed with peanut butter. I love to eat peanut butter out of the jar, I always put a scoop of PB in my cereal or oatmeal and I love PB in a smoothie (depending on the ingredients). To me, peanut butter just makes everything better. Saturday, while...

Today is the inaugural launch of “product review Monday’s” on losinginthecity.com. Mondays will now be devoted to me sharing with you new products that I am just loving. Yesterday, I took my first zumba class at the new Z Club NY. A studio dedicated to all things zumba. I usually take zumba at the gym but I have been dying to visit the studio. Every month they do a free class/workshop. So I decided that would be the perfect time to try it out. I am trying to decide if I want to take a few classes there and still go to the gym. I don’t want to pay a lot for both so we will see what’s more economical. I went with my sister and a dear friend and we had a good time. As always zumba...

I had all good intentions of really staying on track with my diet this week. I mean my birthday is coming up next week and I am so close to my 1st goal of losing 10LBS. I go to a client meeting today for work and they provided lunch, which I love when clients do that. Well in typical NYC style, I imagined lunch would have been sandwiches, salads and a few brownies and cookies for dessert. Well, it was NOT. They ordered from TGIF. Really people, what happened to the sandwiches and salads, I was prepared for that. What could I do, it was a two...

So far my trip to L.A. is off to a good start. I had an early flight (7a.m.). I woke up a bit early to prepare some snacks to bring with me for this 6-hour flight. The old me love to roam the airport and buy snacks that I normally do not get to have, but not any more as that always lead to bad choices. I brought my lunch pack and filled it with healthy snack options an orange, a banana, 2 Kashi bars (1 for me and 1 for my co-worker traveling with me), Special K crackers and of course my new favorite snack “Drizzles” (see product review...

I was nervous with going back to work today and managing my diet. But overall it was a great day. I have to keep reminding myself, take it one day at a time. I had a great workout, I took a 45 minute spinning class, which I will try and take every Monday night, hopefully I can fit in.. School starts back tomorrow, my next hurdle to overcome.. Once i can manage my diet with school and work, i’ll be good to go. Here’s what I had for dinner: Dinner- 1 Lean Cuisine frozen dinner (7pts) (I try not to have to many frozen meals during the...
